- Jean Ribert Francois is a PhD student in the Department of Geography and Geospatial Sciences at Kansas State University. He is currently working on research realted to landscape complexity
and agricultural production.He is interested in rural community development and sustainability and wants to use adapted approaches to understand change and transformation in community-based systems (e.g., farming systems).
His bachelor’s degree was in Agricultural Economics and Rural Development (College of Agronomy and Veterinary Medicine / State University of Haiti) and
he got his master’s degree in Family, Youth and Community Sciences (College of Agriculture and Life Sciences / University of Florida). His program was funded by USAID through their Support to Agricultural Research and Development (SARD) project in Haiti. His research project examined mechanisms by which family, community, and society create advantages and/or disadvantages for young people coming from an agricultural background and how their life aspirations are impacted.

- Michael Molloy was a MA student in the Department of Geography and Geospatial Sciences at Kansas State University.
His masters thesis work focused on adaptation planning in Coastal Louisiana with an emphasis on community involvement in planning related to
future flooding and sea level rise. Michael worked as a summer graduate research assistant on the FEMA Buyout and Social Vulnerability projects in 2019. Michael
completed his Master's degree in Geography May 2020. Congratulations Michael!
- Colin Goodman was a Computer Science major at Kansas State University. Colin built
census data extraction and processing scripts as an undergraduate research assistant on the Social Vulnerability project since August 2019. Colin graduated December 2020. Congratulations Colin!
- Katie Mahlmeister was a Fisheries, Wildlife, & Conservation major at Kansas State University. She conducted
land use change analyses as an undergraduate research assistant on the Wildcat Creek Watershed from Aug - Dec 2019. Katie graduated in December 2019. Congratulations Katie!
- Travis Wiederstein was a major in Biological Systems Engineering at Kansas State University. He conducted watershed
stormwater runoff analyses as an undergraduate research assistant on the Wildcat Creek Watershed project from Aug 2019 - Jan 2020. As of Spring 2020 Travis is a master's student in the Department of
